Kudos to Erick Erickson

If you have not read it, read Erick’s article posted today at Redstate.com. I have had private conversations along these lines with friends and allies in Washington, DC. What Erick wrote today takes courage because behind the scenes, the “conservative” power brokers in Washington, DC are looking to eviscerate him after what he dared to write.
But the problem for them is what Erick wrote is true.
Folks, something is wrong with the would be conservative organizations in Washington, DC and Erick’s article is spot on. A lot of the organizations have become part of the problem and are not (and will never be) part of the solution. I am not encouraging a “throw all the bums out” mentality when it comes to conservative organizations based in Washington, DC. What I am encouraging is a more introspective look by grassroots conservatives who are asked to fund these organizations with small dollar donations.
If you are one of those grassroots donors, ask yourself, “Are the organizations I have been giving to effective? If so, why is it that the Left runs all of Washington, DC?”
